BookSpider Launches Three New Publishing Imprints to Enhance Customer Experience
BookSpider has announced the launch of three new publishing imprints —Afro by BookSpider, Butterfly by BookSpider, and Showas by BookSpider — as part of its efforts to create a more focused and customer-centred publishing experience.
The new imprints have been created to serve distinct categories of books, allowing BookSpider to develop more specialised publishing experiences for authors while giving each category a clear identity within its publishing ecosystem.

Afro by BookSpider will focus on fictional books, providing a dedicated publishing platform for authors telling fictional stories, particularly those exploring African experiences, perspectives and imagination.

Butterfly by BookSpider will cater to children’s books, creating a dedicated space for stories developed for young readers and supporting the growth of children’s literature within BookSpider’s publishing portfolio.

Showas by BookSpider will focus on religious books, providing a distinct publishing home for works centred on faith, spirituality and Christian living.
BookSpider says the new imprints reflect a broader commitment to improving how it serves customers.
Rather than treating every book under a single publishing structure, the new model allows the company to better understand the unique requirements of different book categories and provide more focused support throughout the publishing journey.
Speaking on the development, Felix Ukattah, CEO of BookSpider, said the new imprints reflect the company’s commitment to continuously improving its services.
“At BookSpider, we are constantly looking for better ways to serve our authors and readers. These imprints allow us to become more intentional about how we support different categories of books and the people creating them.”
He added that the initiative is not simply about introducing new names, but about creating a more organised and responsive publishing experience.
“Our goal is to understand our customers better and give every book the attention and positioning it deserves. By creating dedicated imprints, we can build more focused experiences around the different kinds of books we publish.”
The launch represents another step in BookSpider’s broader evolution as a full-service publishing company, with a focus on building a more structured publishing ecosystem that responds to the diverse needs of authors and readers.
BookSpider says the new imprints will continue to evolve as the company expands its publishing offerings and strengthens its commitment to delivering a better experience for authors and readers.
